I am a computer graphics artist from and currently living in New Hyde Park on Long Island (just outside of Queens). I have done freelance work in graphic design, web design, photography and rendering for product proposals. I am currently seeking employment in the field of film and/or video post production, animation, production design, editing, visual fx or any related field. I'm hoping to get a job in San Francisco, because that would be a great excuse to move there!
I have a B.F.A. and a M.A. in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology. I always thought there should be a "The" in front of the school name, but there isn't. I learned a number of important things in school; for example, I learned enough about art to know that I should have taken more art classes!
I have a number of hobbies, the most important being photography. It is extremely important to me and I take pictures when ever I can, of what ever I can, with what ever I can. I also enjoy creating and editing video, which I have been doing on my various computers for a long time. I also collect old cameras (although half a dozen is hardly a collection), so don't throw them away, give them to me :-) I also engage in amateur graphic design and I like well designed media. I like all kinds of film and animation, old and new, traditional and avant garde. I also like art history but I am thankful I didn't have to sit through more than one semester of it in school. Other hobbies include blogging, vlogging, and reading the encyclopedia.
I also like to play with construction paper, but I just don't get to do it often enough.

In the future, I would like to write and be involved with story development for animated shorts or features, possibly owning and operated a small animation studio. I would most assuredly prefer work that is more creative and less commercial.
I am very quiet but I seem to enjoy communication trough writing.
